Have You Heard? My Review of Liberty Awakened: Isle of Fangs Book One by Alicia Dean

unnamed (2)

Liberty Delacort doesn’t believe in Vampires. Then she meets the father she never knew, just before his death, and learns she’s the last of the Van Helsing bloodline.

Eli, a 300 year old Vampire, doesn’t believe Liberty has what it takes to stand between the humans and the Evil Ones on Sang Croc Island, and orders her back to the mainland.

Ryan, a friend of Liberty’s late-father, disagrees and insists that Eli provide the promised training.

Now the Full Moon has come and Liberty must stand in the gap. But unbeknownst to her–she’s fallen for the wrong vampire.

“An adventure where vampires rule. Liberty is delightful [and] we get a hero and anti-hero. It’s tough to choose between the two.” ~ Reads and Reviews

~My Review~

Alicia Dean is an excellent suspense/mystery writer who will keep you on the edge of your seat, quickly turning the pages on your e-Reader to discover what’s going to happen when turning the pages. This book, Liberty Awakened, is no different.

I was immediately captivated by this story once I began reading it. It was a quick read for me because I couldn’t put it down. Not your typical shifter-story; it’s full of twists, turns, and things I never expected, which I love. This is a romance, mystery/suspense, and it’s somewhat of a shifter book. Still, you will love the characters and the plot. Alicia kept me guessing right up to the end, which did leave a little cliffhanger, but I love those. ❤

Read this book and the others in the series. Alicia Dean does not disappoint!
